On August 11th, 2026, the inevitable decision was made: Ducky has been shutdown. Over the past few months, interest and motivation for this project has significantly decayed. To put it lightly, progress has been very slow; the team is unmotivated, and has lost most if not all interest in ERLC due to other commitments, whether it be a real paying job, school and academic studies, or pursuing other hobbies. Not to mention, the codebase is unnecessarily complex and messy (code written from day one still exists), which makes it nearly impossible for development to be enjoyable, and certainly not something that can be expected from a team of voluntary developers.

To Ducky Plus+ & supporters: We are very grateful to everyone that financially supported Ducky, whether it was real-world currency or via Robux. Thank you to all that purchased Ducky Plus+ or donated. All of Ducky's expenses have been covered and we were able to give members of our team large payouts for their contributions. As a reminder, section 5 of Ducky's terms of service states that all purchases are final and non-refundable. Therefore, no refunds will be made.

Regarding your data & migration: We created a simple tool to quickly export and/or delete your data, which includes blacklist, plus subscriptions, exportables, guild/server configurations, Discord <-> Roblox account links, and usersettings. Only data related to you (where your ID is found) will be exported/deleted. For guild (server) data, only the physical owner of the server is able to manage it. You can find the website here.

You should be able to use the exported data to migrate to another service, such as Melonly.

ERLC API keys have already been fully deleted from our database, and a Global API Key deactivation has been requested.

Ducky v1 source code: If you'd like to see the source code for Ducky v1, it has been published at the DuckyERLC/Ducky-opensource repository under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0. Please read the README and license prior to accessing or modifying the source code.
